My main concern right now is that most of the source files are missing
copyright/licensing headers. Ideally, each file should have a copyright
and license header in it. Your license is GPLv2+. See the little
boilerplate GPL header shown in /usr/share/common-licenses/GPL-2. 

Furthermore, run ’licensecheck -r .’ at the top of your source tree and
you’ll see some 245 python files missing headers. It would be advisable
to get properly licensed/copyrighted sources into Ubuntu.
